Added a few people to my friends today. Got in touch with some old friends, which is cool. My friend (who had surgery for a condition which he'd rather I not mention (to anyone)) got discharged from hospital today, and Im gonna swing by his place (which is so far away Im amazed he commutes) on Sunday. In other news I picked up a cool book on programming in C++ with the windows MFC, and our washing machine finally got fixed (I almost ran out of underwear!). Almost, almost

Well, no luck on the house finding front yet, but hopefully Ill get something on Thursday (Id better). Im dreading going to work tomorrow, since its my last day Ill probably get tipped into a bin of icy cold water ... with real ice in it.In other news I still have my room to clean out and all my stuff to make ready for transit, and Im moving on Saturday (Oh yeah, have Im mentioned I dont even know where Im moving to?).Other than that Im feeling decidedly below the weather, but perky due to imminent return to University. Now if I could only convice the parental to let me take some boxen ...

On Friday my VCR died in a thunderstorm! Gah!Oh well, the concept of going back to Uni is keeping me alive atm, but looking forward to the future if I can get this money thing sorted out I might take my first ever vacation ever in summer. Up to Finland with a friend.Thats about it really, Ive been doing nothing more than ticking over.Watch this space for interesting life.

Almost, almost. I get to leave work on the 29th. I just have to survive untill then ... and find a place to live ... and a way to make more money.Work is as boring as usual, though slackening off, and its not so cold anymore. It is however windy, and rainy (but then this is the slime isle). I watched the second Planet of the Apes movie (I bought all five originals on DVD recently) and generally vegged for the evening, Then the parental came in and tried to have an intelligent computer conversation!Well, at least Im not crippling myself with worry, that would suck.

another day, another headcold

I hate working in the freezing cold, soon I will be free though!I got home late and exhausted and havent done a sinlge thing at all today (apart from make an army list for an upcoming warhammer 40k game). I really need to start my weights again but I just dont get the chance these days. Work consumes all my time, energy and health. Also my mothers cooking leaves much to be desired of my diet. I feel wasted and burned up and I dont even pollute myself with nasty chemicals (save caffiene of which I am a fond devotee). My life is terrible, Im falling part at the seams and I just cant muster the energy to do anything about it. I just glad Uni will save me come february.Roll on February (I feel a song coming on)

I should start keeping a proper diary

... since I got about 4 of them for christmas. Id actually forgotten it was 2003!Anyway, I went to work, and it was cold ice everywhere. Ice is good, but Id prefer snow. Snow is predicted soon which is good and I hope to be able to enjoy it (as opposed to being inside working from dawn to dusk).After work I vegged out playing some CM2BB (Combat Mission 2: Barbarossa to Berlin) which is a great game, and then read the first chapter of Return of the King. I must see Two Towers sometime soon now that Ive finished the book.Other than that today was uneventful as usual. For those who know what it means, roll on February.
